ABOUT DR. THORNE
Dr. Irina Thorne is a licensed clinical psychologist serving individuals and families in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is also a certified school psychologist and a certified animal-assisted therapist.
APPROACH
Her work is grounded in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that focused on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Treatment is not only aimed at reducing current symptoms, but at building practical, lasting skills that support long-term functioning and well-being.
Dr. Thorne specializes in working with individuals, adolescents, and families who are seeking a more structured and effective approach to care. Her style is direct, engaged, and goal-oriented, with an emphasis on identifying and changing the patterns that contribute to ongoing distress.
Treatment is collaborative and intentional. Clients are supported in understanding their concerns, setting realistic goals, and developing strategies that lead to meaningful, sustained change.
